These unique scrunchies are crafted using deadstock from local designers or discarded/clearance fabrics, end of rolls. This scrunchie is the most sustainable and unique hair accessory you will ever own! This is an oversized scrunchie (even in the mini size) as it uses a wider amount of fabric compared to other mass-market scrunchies. Because of this it will show a lot of volume and will stand out on your hair.
Size
This mini size is the kids favourite, but it’s also perfect for those who love the materials but don’t feel comfortable with too much volume. We have a size for everyone!
How to Style It
This scrunchie is made with a generous amount of fabric and a thin elastic. The fit will depend a lot on what kind of hair you have, yet it suits all types. We always recommend not more than two loops for all the three sizes (mini, mega, giga). The design is made for a soft look with a loose pony or bun or braid, but you can get a tight look by using your elastic band first and then pop the scrunchie over it. For some styles (hand-dyed) you can gently style it by dragging the edge out so it sits in a way where the dye you want to see is showing.

*Mini is a good size to use cutouts, remnants and end of fabric rolls. In order to reduce wasted fabric sometimes we use a few centimetres more to finish off the piece. Therefore the slight variation in size.
Material
Talking about wearable art…this scrunchie is hand-dyed by us! They are very delicate but also very precious! Please keep it away from water, if possible. These scrunchies are made with silk organza (natural fiber) therefore they will scrunch/ wrinkle. The scrunched effect is beautiful but if you prefer the smooth/ironed look you can always use a bit of steam (from a hot iron or steamer) to bring it back to the original shape.
